From the Dock to Your Plate

100 years: Serving the freshest seafood in New England.

Turner's offers only the very best of New England seafood, delivered directly from our docks, to our Gloucester plant, to our customers  --  creating an authentic New England seafood experience unlike any other.

Sustainably sourcing the highest-quality fresh seafood from local independent fishermen is our mission. We are deeply grateful to those who recognize the true value behind every catch. Our work — in our restaurants, at our fish plant, and through Dock to Door — begins with the courage and dedication of the men and women who choose commercial fishing as their livelihood.

Remembering the F/V Lily Jean

Lily Jean

The tragic loss of the F/V Lily Jean, on January 30, 2026, reminds us how dangerous commercial fishing is, and how brave these seafaring men and women are. We are deeply humbled and forever grateful to those who choose this life; collectively they shape Gloucester into the hardworking, resilient community that it is.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our neighbors, friends, and partners on the F/V Lily Jean:
Fifth-generation fisherman Captain Accursio "Gus" Sanfilippo, crewmates Paul Beal Sr., Paul Beal Jr., John Paul Rousanidis, Freeman Short, Sean Therrien, and NOAA observer Jada Samitt.

They risked everything to bring the best of the ocean to our tables.

*Appreciation Fee*

In Massachusetts, it is not legal for gratuities you generously leave your server to be shared with the "Back of the House" team. This team works equally hard to deliver you the best New England seafood experience. As a result, we have included a 1% (a penny on a dollar) "Back of the House Appreciation Fee" on checks. We do not expect this to be in addition to any gratuity you provide, but ask you take this fee into account for a more equitable distribution.

Feel free to ask for this fee to be removed if you do not wish to have it included.

*The fee is not a tip or service charge for waitstaff, service employees or bartenders.
